Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Pathway2College (“Pathway2College,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information in connection with pathway2college.org and our related services (together, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
Information We Collect
Information you provide. When you contact us, register for a workshop, or communicate with us, we collect the information you submit, such as your name, email address, phone number, school or organization, and the contents of your messages.
Athlete profile information. For student athletes featured on our roster, we collect athletic, academic, biographical, and media information (including highlight film, statistics, positions, graduation year, and similar details) that is provided by the athlete or a parent or guardian, or gathered with their involvement.
Payment information. If you purchase a paid service, payment is processed by a third party payment processor. We do not store full payment card numbers. We may receive limited transaction details such as confirmation of payment and the last digits of a card.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Services, we and our providers may automatically collect device and usage information such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring pages, through cookies and similar technologies.
Information from third parties. We may receive information from families, coaches, event operators, and platforms such as embedded video services when that content is connected to an athlete profile.
How We Use Information
We use information to operate and improve the Services, respond to inquiries, administer workshops and purchases, build and present athlete profiles to college coaches and programs, communicate with you, maintain security, and comply with legal obligations.
How We Share Information
College coaches and programs. Athlete profile information is shared with college coaches and programs for recruiting purposes. Athlete contact details are routed through Pathway2College rather than published directly.
Service providers. We share information with vendors who perform services for us, such as website hosting, analytics, email, and payment processing, subject to appropriate obligations.
Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law or legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Pathway2College, our users, or others.
Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
With consent. We may share information for other purposes with your consent. We do not sell personal information for money.
Student Athletes, Children, and Parental Consent
Many of the athletes we work with are under 18, and some may be under 13. We create and publish athlete information only with the involvement and consent of the athlete and a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent. A parent or guardian may review, request changes to, or request deletion of their child’s information at any time by contacting us. If you believe we have collected information from a child without proper consent, contact us and we will promptly delete it.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Services, remember preferences, and understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Some features may not function properly if cookies are disabled. We do not respond to browser Do Not Track signals at this time.
Data Retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services and for legitimate business, legal, or recruiting purposes. Athlete profiles are maintained while an athlete is active with us and for a reasonable period afterward, unless earlier deletion is requested.
Data Security
We take reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Privacy Rights and Choices
You may contact us to review, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to opt out of marketing communications. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws, such as the right to access, delete, or limit certain uses of your information. To exercise any right, contact us using the details below. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Third-Party Links and Embedded Content
The Services may link to or embed content from third parties, such as video platforms. Those third parties operate under their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted on this page with a new date. Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted means you accept the updated Policy.
